Combination suggestions in Moodboards (Pro feature)

Find suggestions for materials that would work well with your moodboard

You can quickly add colour combinations directly to your moodboard in NCS+ on the Web with the built-in combinations suggestions.

On the Web

  1. Navigate to Boards
  2. Select the moodboard you want to work with
  3. Click on either Freeform or Colour Space in the sub menu
  4. Click on the colour you want a combination suggestion for
  5. In the contextual menu that appears above the colour, click on the Combinations icon
  6. The Combinations popup that appears will give you suggestions for colours that share NCS similiarities, including
    • Same Nuance
    • Same Hue
    • Same Chromaticness
    • Same Blackness
    • Same Whiteness
  7. Hovering over any of the suggestions will show you the similarity between your selected colour and the suggested combination.
  8. Click on any suggestion to add it directly to the moodboard

Hint: You can refresh the list of suggested combinations with the Spacebar on your keyboard, or by clicking on the "Refresh" icon in the top right corner.
